Techsage is built around a network of senior, independent practitioners engaged per engagement. This is who we look for, and how it works.
Who we look for
Senior OpenShift, Ansible, networking and security practitioners who have carried production platforms — not certifications alone, but the judgement that comes from having been on call when something they built was tested. We look for people who document as a habit rather than an obligation, and who would rather say “I don’t know yet” than guess out loud.
How engagements are staffed
We staff each engagement around what it actually requires, drawing from the network rather than assigning whoever is available. A practitioner joins a specific engagement for the depth it needs, works alongside the rest of the assembled team, and is held to the same documentation and review standard the firm applies everywhere else.
What working with us is like
Direct, unglamorous and well organised. Expect clear scope, a written plan, and colleagues who read the design document before the call. Expect to be asked to set down your reasoning, not only your output. Expect the firm to say no to work that is not a good match, for you or for the client.
Confidentiality is the default
Everything about an engagement — who it was for, what the environment looked like, what had gone wrong before we arrived — stays inside the firm unless the client says otherwise. We do not use client names, sectors or details to advertise our work, and we expect the same discretion from everyone in the network. It is a condition of joining, not a footnote.
